Experience

I have been a  business consultant, intermediary, and entrepreneur since 1968. 

I published and edited community newspapers before entering the investment advisory business. 

I founded and operated a successful group of companies that included a securities brokerage, an investment advisory firm, a financial planning company, a real estate syndication and management company, and a mutual fund.

I am a Certified Professional Consultant and a Certified Financial Planner.

I have authored two books:

Education

I earned a bachelor’s degree in journalism and business administration at The University of Tennessee, Knoxville.

I continued my education at:
